I'm fighting this enemy to stop watering a seed
This seed could jeopardize my future
A seed to bring forth fruit of weakness, failed attempt
I'll take the stride and find the root cause
Wherever the imperfection lies I'm ready to resolve and uproot
Leave a fertile and clear ground behind
Act as a foundation for faith
For the faith of a mustard, is what I'll sow
In due season it will flower and grow
The extent to which the good Lord has brought me
None could understand
I couldn't tell it if I tried but
As much as the Lord should be lifted high and glorified
I will testify to the world for he has made me strong
To give the enemy no grounds to rejoice at my struggle
My fellow man does not have the strength to take my story
Nor the time to hear it fully

I think this is my best of it all! I really like the message... I like the struggles faced in the first stanza but your allusion to God and the assurance he gives you in the subsequent stanza's! well written violet!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Mr. Mitch ! That was the message I tried to express in this poem, thank you for grasping it.
