Fear !

A thief in the time of despair

In all the years of my life up until today

I never realized how much I had cut my self short of opportunities

Because of fear of what was or what could be ?

When you have a goal and place you want to see yourself

You must push fear aside

It steals your today by making you worry about tomorrow

One thing is for sure that God has already taken care of tomorrow

So enjoy today and let tomorrow sort its self out !

I have learned that things never come easy for someone like me

But if I genuinely work my hardest and put faith first

I'll observe that good things come to those who wait

Fear still steals my youth while I work for my place at the top

It either worries me about failure or success

It makes me place less value on myself, giving a sense of unworthiness

Places me in a position where I no longer feel confident

Life itself is a journey, a race

We spend too long thinking about getting back at rivals

We forget to grasp the true essence of ..

Of what it means to be much alive and well

How much it should mean to be in a position

Far from rock bottom, from the dust of the well

From the creeps of a cemetery which lays stone cold

Where some of our loved ones bodies rest in peace

To forget what brought us down and focus on what lifts

Your spirit high among the clouds

For your life brings joy to the heavens

Each time you defy the odds placed on you by haters

Observing but not heeding to the doubts of onlookers

In my mind I'm still a little girl
But to world and family I'm a successful woman
A great woman of substance
A woman too relevant to be ignored
I have been called the salt of the earth
And have been seen as the light of the world
My success way beyond any set ambition
My impact beyond human imagination
Ambitions I once had, visions I had for my life once dreams
Now, living reality to the advantage of the world that surrounds me
They see me as an eagle
Well focused and great, impacted nations
Missions achieved to the glory of God
But all this is no surprise
A wise one once told me that nothing is impossible
The word itself says I'm possible
Took this into account as people tried to get to me negatively
And lived by this philosophy ever since

" I can have what I want, be what I want as long as I fulfill my purpose "

They call me chosen generation
A royal priesthood, I always knew
But I look back to see that ...
I frowned, when I should have smiled
I questioned, when I should have agreed
I listened, when I should have spoken
