Bullet Hole Roses

This  quarter's  guest blog post comes from Aesthetica Poetica who speaks on  SPEAK  YOUR  HEART  which looks
at  feelings through one  of  her poems on the death of  innocence and  lives cut short.

Joyful lives shattered to smithereens
Minds traumatised by deafening screams
Innocence robbed... unrequited dreams

Tattooed nightmares; blood stained hearts and minds
Blindfolded through fear by humankind
Our lurking enemy... undefined

Yet out of bullet holes roses grow
Selfless acts of kindness, freely shown
Still...
